Last Saturday I made the drive up to Tulsa for the Rigs and Coffee meetup, and I'm glad I did.
Jeff and Ashley run a tight ship with these events. If you haven't been to a Rigs and Coffee, the concept is simple: show up, walk the rigs, swap stories, and learn what's going on in the local overland scene. No agenda, no pressure. Just people who love getting out in their trucks.
My main reason for going was a delivery. I had a custom pig bed to hand off to one of the regulars (more on that build soon), but that errand turned into the perfect excuse to spend a morning with people I hadn't seen in a while and meet some new faces.
The event had solid raffle prizes going around too. Annual passes to a local adventure park, tickets to the Big Iron Overland Rally, Baja Designs pod lights. Good stuff.
The part I didn't expect to get as much out of: I set some Stormcrow products out on my tailgate for the first time. No booth, no table, just gear laid out on the back of the Canyon. It was a low-pressure way to see how people interact with the products in person, and honestly a good dry run before I commit to an actual vendor booth at a larger event.
If you're in the Oklahoma/Tulsa area and haven't made it to a Rigs and Coffee yet, put it on your list. Good people, cool builds, and you never know who you'll run into.
